Tea Tree Bath, Body & Hair Oil, Natural Healing

Who would have thought to put tea tree oil in a bath, body and hair oil?

Here is a little information on the tea tree in case you are not familiar with its attributes or were not even aware of its existence.

For ages, aboriginals in Australia used the leaves of the tea tree as a medicine to aid in heeling. Tribesmen placed the crushed and ground leaves on cuts, burns and infections. The oils of the plant contain substances with antiseptic and anti-fungal properties.

Today, oil from this tree is used to treat acne, athlete’s foot, dandruff, periodontal disease, lice, eczema, psoriasis and yeast infections. This is not a complete list. There are numerous uses for this antiseptic oil.

Considering all the uses for this plant and its secretions, maybe it is not such a big leap to the creation of Tea Tree Bath, Body & Hair Oil, which is part of the collection of Wen products. Sarah, who has battled dandruff problems much of her adult life, tried this Wen product.

“I wasn’t very optimistic when I read about the product,” Sarah said, “but I figured, what do I have to lose? Well, let me tell you, I didn’t lose anything except those darn flakes. My scalp is no longer flakey. When I comb my hair I don’t see white specks on my clothes or anywhere else. It’s great.”

Tea Tree Bath, Body & Hair Oil uses the healing oil combined with other ingredients to rejuvenate the skin and add moisture to all varieties of hair. It is said to be particularly beneficial to on thinning hair.

The substance can be added to bath water or applied to the hair before bedtime and washed out the next morning. It can also be mixed with leave-in conditioner and applied to the hair.
